Parents, as we begin the 2010 season, I want to start by
welcoming all of you to the JFLW.
Our goal is for your son to enjoy playing the game of football.
As coaches, we have pledged to promote fun while teaching the various
techniques involved in the game.
For this to be an enjoyable experience, everyone is
expected to act as role models.
As parents, I encourage you to root for your son and his team.
Please keep your comments positive and uplifting.
As you will quickly learn, game day parking adds stress to
everyone’s visit. Please plan on
arriving early to your game. Please
listen and take direction from the directing officers.
They will tell you if there are parking spots located at the field or if
you are required to park by Everall Barn.
If you are to park by the barn, you may drop your son off at the turn
around located by the shelter house at the North end of the fields.
You will then proceed to park. There
will be weeks that the Barn is being rented and we are unable to park there.
I can suggest the church across Cleveland Ave or the Recreation Center,
both of which are a good 10 minute walk.
Please note that the grass parking spots will be reserved
for the (16) head coaches. I will place
signs to reserve, please do not park in these spots.
I will also have (6) spots reserved for the officials.
They will be marked with a cone.
If you have any concerns, please approach me or one of the
other officers of the league. If you
do not know who I am, ask. If I am
not coaching, I am usually on or around the path that separates the fields.
The officers of the league will be wearing yellow tags around their neck.
The JFLW Officials are: Vice Commissioner and Bronco Eagles head coach,
Bryan Williams, Treasurer and Bronco/Pony Redskins head coach, Pete Bogetich,
and Sgt. at Arms and Bronco Vikings head coach, Toby Hutson.
We are here for you and will happily answer your questions.
Thank you and enjoy the season!
Brad Kreuzer
Commissioner - JFLW.
